LTC APPRENTICE RECEIVES RECOGNITION

We are pleased to announce that this month, our Apprentice Bradlee Rodriguez-Martinez-Medway received the Barry & Peggy Scholarship for his exceptional dedication in their apprentice role at LTC Specialist Scaffolding Ltd.

The Barry & Peggy Scholarship Award aims to recognise young people who go above and beyond in their apprenticeship role and reward them with £1,500 to go toward their tools and further study.
Having started his apprenticeships in 2023, Hannah Brierley (Apprenticeship Development Coach) from CITB & Leah Russell (Scaffold Co-Ordinator) at LTC nominated Bradlee after recognising his progress. Fantastic feedback from his mentors, site managers and college stating he goes above and beyond to also support other learners as well as learning himself throughout the first year of his apprenticeship.

Comments from Bradlees mentors & Support network

“It was the Bradlees’s progress and achievement at work that gave me the belief that he was worthy of a scholarship. Review meetings from college were fantastic his college tutors even passed comment on how Brad encourages other students with his positive attitude, he brings a good feel to the group. I therefore felt inspired and confident to fill out an application form for him. It was great to receive the e-mail to say he had won a scholarship.”

“I am delighted that Bradlee has been recognised for his excellent progress as an apprentice at LTC Specialist Scaffolding. This has been achieved through hard work, dedication and enthusiasm. Not forgetting the support from all his mentors and site supervisors along the way.”

“Bradlee is a standout apprentice for me. He consistently treats others with respect, kindness and empathy and keeps others’ spirits up with his positive attitude, sense of humour and zest for life. He is one of those rare individuals that makes you feel genuinely happier, just by spending time in his company. The thing that sums it up best for me, is that I truly hope he becomes a mentor to other apprentices in the future”.

“Bradlee displays the knowledge, skills, drive, and emotional intelligence to truly make a difference within his industry whilst positively impacting the people he meets along the way. The instructors at NCCE wholeheartedly echoed this sentiment too, and also added that Bradlee is exactly the sort of person that they would choose to work with because of his work ethic, scaffolding capability, and personality”.

LTC are delighted to see Bradlees’s hard work recognised! We will continue to assist and support Bradlee through his training, Bradlee has a great future ahead of him at LTC.
